Morné van der Linde
Morné van der Linde is a devoted husband, and father to three wonderful boys. He was born in the highveld town of Benoni in South Africa and is one of a set of twins. His parents instilled in him a deep love for God and that has been the theme for Morné’s life.
Morné matriculated in 1991 from Hans Moore High School and completed his 4 year degree in Theology (BTh) at the University of Johannesburg, AFM Theological Seminary. Shortly after Morné completed and received his marriage facilitator certificate.
As a pastor Morné has been involved in various aspects of the local church, but he has always been tender-hearted towards couples, and the success of marriages. He believes that healthy marriages are the underwire for all of society. Marriage forms the foundation for the family unit and families lie at the core of society.
Morné married his wife Inanda some 20 years ago! Inanda is a worshipper at heart. She loves to be in the presence of God. She completed her degree in Theology (BTh) this year and is the owner of Brilliant Minds Music Academy, where she helps autistic children through music.
They have three boys, each one unique and thriving! Sheldon is the eldest, he is a student in Canada. He loves to make music, a true entertainer. His dream is to be a filmmaker. Jaden is the middle child; he is an intellectual. Very analytical and task driven, a good pole-vaulter. Luan is the youngest and he is always in a good mood. He loves to sing and play the piano.
Morné’s biggest strength is as an activator. He believes that acting is the only way to create the change that is needed. This is a huge advantage to the couples that he has ministered to in the past; it helps people to move from talking about change to achieving the change.
His love for people is his most enduring quality. Spending time with him is always uplifting and motivational.
