We love a good story, and the journey of “Marriage Uniqueness” is as inspiring and unique as the name of this humble book.
The author approached us during 2020 with an interesting take on marriages, and how to get started on getting to know what your marriage purpose is. This created excitement in the office as we often talk about couples not knowing why they are together or what they want to be as a family.
Together with the author we developed a directive that takes you from beginning to end on the journey of discovering your marriage uniqueness. An easy self-assessment is available to give you first an understanding of the individual, and then the combination of these attributes as a couple.
Although this is not a formal phycological assessment (these take lots of time), it does give an indication of the personality type that someone has.
The beauty of the combination revealed by each partner taking the test, created a sense of purpose and the uniqueness of each couple is celebrated throughout this process.
We loved the intertwining of various aspects of the marriage process in the book and found that the author has such a love for people and to see people fulfil their purpose. The manner in which the author interacted with the team and explained these aspects in such a loving way, guided the process to deliver a book that is both humble in its approach to the subject and sensitive to the magnitude of the responsibility of marriages in our society today.
From first draft to printing, this has been an incredible process of maturing and introspection for us!
